  I have been trying to find my bookmarks. I follow the steps firefox 3.6 ask for but, some of the buttons they want me to click on don't show or updates are not needed, etc ... . Since I updated from 3.5 to 3.6, I have been have this problem?

  Cannot d/l from the update catalohg. Heard we need an actovex to do this: But where is this activex? Get error 8DDD0020 when I go to catalog.update.microsoft.com sue

  I read it in a msft newsgroup for windowsupdate:

  Windows XP
  because M$ updates post SP3 are designed to sabotage your

  If you want to install a specific update, then you need to
  know the KB #
  and then go to Microsoft website and search for it.

  could use Microsoft Update Catalogue but yo will have to install its
  ActiveX
  to use it and you will need to use Internet Explorer version 6
  or
